User Persona Workshop
Goal
This page and presentation deck were originally created for a User Persona Workshop for a UX Meetup group. The goal was to educate fellow UX Designers and Developers on what User Personas are, why they are useful, and how to create them. As part of the workshop we did an exercise in persona development based on their own group experiences. Though the outcome of the workshop did not actually include research it was a great way to educate the group and have fun doing an exercise.

Original Content
The key to designing a successful user experience is knowing your users. Who are they? What do they need? What problems do they face? User personas are created to be the voice of those users.
This presentation and workshop are intended to provide an introduction to what user personas are and why they are important. The workshop serves as a guide to creating your own user personas.
